COMBINED HONORS PROGRAMS


HISTORY

Approved Combinations: Anthropology, Classical Studies, Comparative Literature and Culture, Economics, English, Film Studies, French, German, Greek, Latin, Linguistics, Media, Information and Technoculture, Philosophy, Political Science, Religious Studies, Russian, Sociology, Spanish, Visual Arts, or Women's Studies. These combinations are also available at the affiliated colleges.

First Year

One course from the History 020-099 range

Second, Third and Fourth Years

History 234E, 236E, one of History 231E or 232E or 233E, three 300-or 400-level History courses, with at least one course at the 400-level.

Progression Requirements

To be eligible to progress in the combined honors History program, each student must achieve at least 70% in two of the three mandatory history courses at the 200- level (234E; 236E; one of History 231E or 232E or 233E). In addition, students must have an average of at least 70% in the three mandatory courses with no mark less than 60%.
