Program
After Film Studies 020E, students must complete the equivalent of five full senior courses in Film Studies, including Film Studies 200F/G, 251E, 270F/G, and one of Film Studies 158F/G or 258F/G. Students are strongly advised to take Film Studies 200F/G and 251E in second year.
No more than one full-course equivalent at the 100 level may be counted towards the Area of Concentration in Film Studies.

Notes
- Students registered in the program after September 1986 but prior to September 1991 may graduate under the regulations in force at the time of registration: English 020E or 022E or 024E or Film Studies 020E. At least one, but not more than two courses from the former Film 151E, 253E, 154E. Film Studies 270F/G (or the former Film Studies 170F/G). Additional Film Studies courses as required for a total of five.
- Students registered in the program after September 1991 but prior to September 1994 may graduate under the regulations in force at the time of registration: Film Studies 020E. The equivalent of five full senior courses in Film Studies, including Film Studies 270F/G. Successful completion of any full English course or Writing 101F/G is also required. No more than one of Film Studies 253E or 154E can be counted.
- Students registered in the program after September 1994 but prior to September 2000 may graduate under the regulations in force at the time of registration: Film Studies 020E, and the equivalent of five full senior courses in Film Studies, including Film Studies 270F/G,the former Film Studies 271F/G and 251E. No more than one of Film Studies 253E or 154E can be counted.
- Students registered in the program after September 2000 but prior to September 2002 may graduate under the regulations in force at the time of registration: Film Studies 020E, and the equivalent of five full senior courses in Film Studies, including Film Studies 270F/G, 271F/G, 251E, and one of Film Studies 158F/G or 258F/G. No more than one full-course equivalent at the 100 level may be counted.
