For admission to this program, applicants must demonstrate a performance level of at least a Conservatory Grade X standard in voice, as well as evidence of exceptional performing ability.

One half music history or theory course in 20th-century music, normally selected from 195a/b, 229, 265a/b, 266a/b, 267a/b, 306a/b, 308a/b, 310a/b, 322a/b, 330a/b, 335, 349a/b, 350a/b, 367a/b, 371a/b, 372a/b, 373a/b, 377a/b, 395, 406a/b, 408a/b, 410a/b, 467a/b, or other 20th-century courses which may be offered in a given year, with departmental permission.

Electives must include Music 037a/b/y. Electives must also include Music 264 or a suitable alternative approved by the Chair of Music Performance Studies.
