Course Description

Economics 322a/b Advanced Econometrics I

This course aims to give students a clear understanding of modern statistical techniques in the context of static linear economic models. Topics include: multiple linear regression; restricted least squares; generalized least squares; seemingly-unrelated-regressions; and simultaneous equation models.

Prerequisites: Economics 223a/b or permission of the Department.
3 lecture hours, half course.
