Course Description

Economics 180a/b Current Issues in Government Economic Policy

This course will deal with current economic issues such as: monetary policy, energy, regional economics, federal-provincial fiscal relations, poverty, economics of the constitution.

Antirequisites: Economics 288F/G, 289F/G, 319F/G, 138F/G, 139F/G.
Prerequisites: Economics 150a/b and 152a/b.
3 lecture hours, half course.
This course cannot be counted towards an area of concentration in Economics by students who declare an Economics concentration after September 1, 1983. Priority is given to students in good standing in the third year of the Administrative and Commercial Studies Program; others admitted by special permission.
