Course Description

Psychology 262a/b Introduction to Educational Psychology

Survey of psychological research and theory in terms of their implications for educational practice. Topics will include learning, motivation, development, problem-solving, individual differences, teacher effectiveness, and assessment.

Antirequisites: Psychology 261F/G, or the former Psycholgy 265E 146, 160.
Prerequisite: At least 60% in a 020-level Psychology course.
2 lecture hours, 2 tutorial hours, half course.
