Course Description

Human Ecology 122a/b Clothing Construction

A theoretical and practical treatment of clothing construction and garment fit. The apparel industry will be studied beginning with fibres and fabric and processing through to design, construction and marketing of clothing. In the laboratory component, students are required to learn various fitting and sewing techniques.

Antirequisite: The former Clothing, Textiles and Design 128a/b.
3 lecture hours, 3 laboratory hours, half-course.
