Economics 371a/b Monetary Economics

A critical analysis of monetary theory and its applications, including the demand for money, the supply of money, Canadian financial institutions, the Bank of Canada and the conduct of monetary policy.

Antirequisite: Economics 154a/b, 330a/b, 331a/b.
Prerequisite: Economics 221a/b.
