Course Description

Economics 313E Research Methods

Using selected examples, this course will introduce students to the variety of ways to conduct research in applied economics. Students will be exposed to different analytical techniques, examples of modelling problems, data collection issues and hypothesis testing. This course prepares students for the Senior Thesis course.

Prerequisites: Economics 221a/b, 223a/b, 261a/b.
