Childhood and Family Relations 411a/b Emerging Perspectives in Childhood Studies

An examination of emerging cross-disciplinary presentations of childhood such as the social structural child; the socially constructed child; the tribal child; the minority rights child; the bilateral family; and the bio-structural child. Particular attention is paid to how different perspectives present the connections among human agency, social structures, and biological structures.

Prerequisite: Childhood and Family Relations 311F/G or permission of the CFR Program Coordinator.
3 lecture/tutorial hours, half course.
