VAS 230 Introducton to Mechanical Reproduction: Photography and Printmaking

An introduction to technical processes pertaining to photography and printmaking, including camera and darkroom techniques and printmaking practices including relief, intaglio and lithography, emphasizing experimentation with and integration of these media in the context of contemporary and historical practices.

Antirequisites: The former Visual Arts 226a/b, 236.
Prerequisite: VAS 020, or the former Visual Arts 020. Priority will be given to students registered in a Visual Arts program.
