Course Description

Statistical Sciences 399a/b Statistical Industry Internship

An oral presentation and written report on a project with a statistical focus completed as part of an industrial internship taken with an organization approved by the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences. The internship should have a duration of twelve to sixteen months.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of the third year of any Honors program in Statistics; and permission of the Department prior to starting the internship.

Hours by arrangement, half course.
