Course Description

MME 499 Mechanical Engineering Design (Industrial)

Mechanical Engineering Design team projects to be conducted under the supervision of an industrial partner. The aim of the course is to develop interdisciplinary skills required to solve open-ended engineering design problems. Engineering design concepts and methods to satisfy specifications subject to constraints that include standards, socio-economic issues or safety and health regulations.

Antirequisite: MME 419, CBE 415, CEE 440, ECE 416, SE 450,
Prerequisites: Completion of third year of the Mechanical Engineering program
1 lecture hours, 4 laboratory/tutorial hours.
