Course Description

German 205F/G Introduction to Literary Theory

Mandatory for students in Honors Specialization German and in the German Major. Students will study different methods of literary interpretation with emphasis on 20th century critical theory and will engage in literary analysis.

Antirequisite: Comparative Literature and Culture 205F/G and Spanish 205F/G.

Prerequisite: German 020, or 020w/x, or permission of the Department.
