COMBINED HONORS PROGRAMS


GERMAN

Approved Combinations: Anthropology, Classical Studies, Comparative Literature and Culture, English, Film Studies, French, Greek, History, Latin, Linguistics, Media, Information and Technoculture, Philosophy, Political Science, Religious Studies, Russian, Sociology, Spanish, Visual Arts, or Women's Studies.

First Year

German 020 or 024 or 002. Students who take German 002 in first year will normally take German 020 along with their second year courses

Second, Third and Fourth Years

German 204F/G, German 250E (mandatory in second year) and the equivalent of 4.5 full German language and literature courses at the 200- or 300-level to make a total in the three senior years of at least six honors courses.

Note: With permission of the Department German 100F/G and German 101F/G can be counted towards the German Combined Honors Program with a minimum mark of 80%. Literature courses at the 300-level may be taken in any sequence.
