Approved Combinations: Anthropology, Classical Studies, Comparative Literature and Culture, English, French, German, Greek, History, Latin, Linguistics, Media, Information and Technoculture, Philosophy, Political Science, Religious Studies, Russian, Sociology, Spanish, Visual Arts, or Women's Studies.

Film Studies 200F/G
Film Studies 251E
One full-course equivalent from : Film Studies 270F/G, 371F/G, 372F/G
One half-course from: Film Studies 242F/G, 243F/G, 244E, 245F/G, 246F/G, 247F/G, 258F/G, or any half course at the 200 level or above deemed to be in the area of Canadian Cinema
Film Studies 474F/G or 490F/G (in exceptional cases, students may apply to take Film Studies 409E in place of the senior seminar course)

2.5 additional Film Studies full-course equivalents at the senior level. Only one full-course equivalent at the 100 level may be counted towards the degree. Film-related courses offered by other departments or faculties at UWO not cross-listed with Film Studies may be chosen. These courses must be approved by the Undergraduate Chair of the Department of English in consultation with the Film Studies Committee.

In second year, students are strongly advised to take Film Studies Film Studies 200F/G and 251E. Film Studies 370F/G, 371F/G and/or 372F/G should not be taken until third or fourth year. Senior seminar courses (Film Studies 474F/G and 490F/G) and the undergraduate thesis option (Film Studies 409E) may not be taken until fourth year.
