FOUR-YEAR BSc HONORS CELL BIOLOGY

Admission Requirements

Completion of the requirements for the 3-year BSc in Biology with the general prerequisites for entrance into honors programs in the Biological Sciences.

In addition students must achieve an average of at least 70% in five senior Biology courses including those listed below:

Biochemistry 280a (formerly Biology 280a), Biology 281b, 282b, 316a, 326a
Biology 338a is recommended

Fourth Year

Principal Courses

Biology 496, Zoology 438b and 440b
Two courses, not previously completed, chosen from: Plant Sciences 450a and 451b, or Zoology 450a/b and 451b; Genetics 492, Biology 322a, 338a, 390a, 391b, Plant Sciences 407b, Zoology 422b, 455a

Subsidiary Courses

One senior course offered in the Faculty of Science; subject to approval by Cell Biology program advisors
