Social Work 030 Contemporary Social Welfare Problems

An examination of contemporary social problems such as social inequality and poverty, unemployment, addictions, in the light of social welfare planning, policy, legislation, and programs of service. (Not to be taken as a prerequisite for entry into the Social Work Program.)
