Religious Studies 248E Liberation Theologies

The most significant theological development in this century is the emergence of genuinely indigenous theologies: the theologies of Liberation. This course will examine both the reasons for this phenomenon and a number of instances of these theologies, focusing on both their methods and their central concerns.
