An examination of the meaning of Church and sacraments in biblical, historical, and contemporary understanding. A study of individuals as members of a faith community and as participants in the community's celebration of specific visions of reality.

Antirequisite: Religious Studies 142E.
Prerequisite: One other Religious Studies course or permission of the instructor.
