Philosophy 022E Historical Introduction to Philosophy

A study of selected works by great philosophers from Socrates to the present. Stress will be laid on the systematic unity of different theories within the thought of individual philosophers, and on the historical evolution of philosophic thinking in the Western world. Primarily for first- year students.
