| CBE 216 Industrial Organic Chemistry |

The course deals with important organic chemical processes and industrial chemical reactions, and laws applied in processing and synthesis of chemical products. Laboratory focuses on bench scale processing and synthesis of basic organic chemical products, and use of modern instruments for analyzing organic materials. |
| Antirequisite: Chemistry 213a/b and 223b |
| Prerequisite: Chemistry 020 or 023 or 024a/b. |
| 2 lecture hours, 3 laboratory hours, 1 tutorial hour. |
| Open only to students registered in the Faculty of Engineering. |
