VAH 361F/G Signs and Symbols II: The Judaeo-Christian Tradition

This course explores the language of the visual arts, from antiquity through the current era, with particular emphasis on the representation of biblical, historical, and legendary themes during the Renaissance.

Antirequisite: The former Visual Arts 361F/G.
Prerequisite: VAH 040, or the former Visual Arts 040, or Classical Studies 150, or permission of the Department.
3 lecture hours, half course.
