Sociology 307F/G Qualitative Research Methods

A comprehensive study of theoretical research issues related to qualitative methodology. Topics to be considered include preparation observation, life histories, archival research, historical methods, and content analysis.

Antirequisite: Sociology 310F, Sociology 311G
Prerequisite: Sociology 231 and enrolment in third or fourth year of either Sociology or the BHSc Aging.
3 hours, half course.
