Political Science 489a/b The Policy Process in Local Government

An examination of the factors which help determine local government decisions about policies, by-laws, expenditures, and taxes. Emphasis is placed on provincial-municipal relations and on land-use planning.

Antirequisite: The former Politics 412.
Prerequisite: Admission to the Diploma Program in Public Administration and Political Science 488a/b or permission of the Department.
