Course Description

Political Science 132a/b The Law, The State and The Individual

A theoretical and practical analysis of the problems of individual rights and state power. Sovereignty, collective and individual rights, and law enforcement will be studied, using Canadian examples. Systems in democratic societies then will be studied in the context of these more general concepts.

2 lecture hours, half course.
