| Physics 200 Physics II | 
| Electromagnetism, special relativity, thermal physics and introduction to quantum physics. | 
| Antirequisites: The former Physics 242a, 244b, 251a, 252b, 256a, 258b | 
| Prerequisites: A minimum grade of 60% in the following courses: Physics 020 or 024 or 025 or 026; (Calculus 050a/b and (051a/b or 081b)) or Applied Mathematics 026 or the former Applied Mathematics 020 or (023a/b plus 024a/b) or the former Mathematics 027. | 
| Corequisites: (Calculus 250a/b and 251a/b) or (Calculus 280a/b and 281a/b) or (Applied Mathematics 290a and 291b) or (the former Applied Mathematics 281a and 282b) or (the former Mathematics 204a and 205b); Linear Algebra 040a/b or the former Mathematics 202a or the former Applied Mathematics 212a. |
