Course Description

Nursing 421 Focused Clinical Practice

This clinical experience provides learners with the opportunity to acquire a proficiency in client care in a selected clinical focus areas, one of which will take place with ill children. Participants will critically reflect on their clinical experiences and relate these to the theories and concepts learned in the Focused Clinical Concepts course.

Prerequisite: Completion of Year 1, 2 and 3 of the Basic Nursing Program.
Corequisite: Registration in all courses required in Year 4 of the Basic Nursing Program.
Terms 1 - 16 clinical/laboratory/seminar hours, full course.
