Course Description

Biology 126 Human Biology

(Given by the Department of Zoology.) The relationship of the human species to the past, present and future biosphere. Human genetics and evolution, population growth, environmental degradation, assessing risks to human health, the future of humankind.

Antirequisite: Biology 285b.
Prerequisite: Biology 022, 023, 025, or 026, or permission of the Department.
2 lecture hours, 2 laboratory/tutorial hours.
Note: This course does not qualify as one of the 5 senior Biology courses for the area of concentration in Biology. It may be used as a Science option.
