Microbiology and Immunology 465a Bacterial Pathogenesis

A course offering an integrated view of the genetics and biochemistry of bacteria and their role in pathogenesis. Lectures and student presentations cover topics in bacterial pathogenesis focusing on medically important organisms.

Prerequisites: Biochemistry 280a (formerly Biology 280a), Biology 281b, Microbiology and Immunology360b or the former Microbiology and Immunology 359b (formerly Biology 359b).
2 lecture hours, 1 tutorial hour, half course.
