Media, Information and Technoculture 144F/G Critical Approaches to the Information Explosion

An introduction to concepts and theories in communication and information retrieval, exploring a variey of media and information sources, including the Internet. Students examine the role of scholars and journalists in producing information and pursue critical strategies for acquiring, evaluating, and communicating information.
