Interdisciplinary Studies 020E The Sea

Ocean science is basic to understanding our world. Oceans are both barriers and routes in human and material transport and are sources of energy and food. The seas have influenced human history and inspired artists in all areas. UWO faculty from diverse areas will discuss the importance of the sea in their discipline.

2 lecture hours, 1 tutorial hour.
Limited to students in their first year at UWO.
Note: For students registered in any program in the Faculty of Science, this course may only be used as a Social Science credit. For all other students, this course may be counted as a credit equivalent to a first year course from the Faculty of Science or Social Science, outside a student's faculty.
