Course Description

Health Sciences 304F/G Advanced Issues in Health Care Ethics

An examination of select topics in health care ethics aimed at individuals embarking in a career in the health sciences. Topics will vary from year to year, but will normally include issues taken from two or more of the following general areas: Research Ethics, Professional Ethics, Clinical Ethics, Ethical Theory. Assignments will include individual and group seminars and some topics may have an associated practicum component (visiting a clinical setting, conduction an interview, etc.)

Prerequisite: Health Sciences 204F/G
2 lecture hours, 1 tutorial hour, half course
