Course Description

German 333F/G City Studies

A study of the dynamic life of a specific city, constructed around materials drawn from both canonical literature and everyday culture. The focus will be on a city in German-speaking Europe rich with literary, artistic, social, and political energy, such as Vienna, Berlin, or Weimar.

Prerequisite: German 250E or permission of the Department.
