| Applied Mathematics 310a/b Modelling and Simulation |

Basic principles of modelling and simulation, description and treatment of deterministic and random processes, computational methods and applications with emphasis on the use of microcomputers. The course will include a major project. |
| Corequisites: Calculus 251a/b, 281a/b, or equivalent, and Applied Mathematics 261b or the former Applied Mathematics 272a/b, 361b. |
