STUDENT FINANCIAL SERVICES

DEREGISTRATION

Failure to comply with the regulations relating to payment of outstanding debts and loan repayments will result in the cancellation of the student's registration. Academic sanctions (deregistration) will be assessed against the student's records. An administrative fee of $200.00 will be charged. This process does not reduce the amount of fees owing or the University's legal right to collect.

Students who have been deregistered by the University will be required to pay full fees in advance of any future session. Payment in full must be in the form of a certified cheque, money order or cash. No alternative methods of payment will be granted for OSAP or for any other reason.

Deregistration is a serious process and carries with it a financial penalty. In addition, interest will be charged at a rate of 18% per annum (1.5% per month) on any unpaid balance from the date of deregistration. See REINSTATEMENT below.
