Religious Studies 230E Controversies within Christian Ethics

Moral disagreements among Chris- tians. Topics include: differing religious views of reality and the nature of ethical reasoning; contemporary controversies regarding the authority of various "sources"; approaches to deciding value conflicts; and controversies among Christians regarding such issues as life/death decisions, social justice, human sexuality.

Antirequisite: Religious Studies 132.
Prerequisite: One other course in Religious Studies.
