Course Description

Political Science 312E Comparative Political Economy

A seminar course exploring the social and economic bases of political conflict and policy making across industrial societies. Emphasis is placed on explaining similarities and differences in national responses to common challenges such as economic restructuring, welfare state reform, and redesigning bureaucracy.

Prerequisites: Political Science 211E, or 230E or 244E or 245E or 246E or 248E.
