An introdutcion to oral and written Japanese. Students will study greetings and short conversations and will study basic grammar. Japanese writing of Hirigana and essential Kanji are introduced. This course is designed for students with no knowledge of the language. Prepares students for progression to International and Comparative Studies 013a/bMEC . |
| Antirequisites: OAC Japanese, International and Comparative Studies 006, or the former Modern Eastern Civilizations 006, 012. |
