French 133a/b Contemporary Francophone Culture

A general study of various aspects of contemporary Francophone culture ranging from fashion, food, art and film to politics, business and education, designed to familiarize the student with the most significant elements of life in a present-day French speaking country or countries. Taught in English. Slides, videos, audio tapes and visual aids used.
