| VAS 258a/b Introduction to New Media. |

A Studio course introducing the basic technical foundation of new media production including digital video and sound. |
| Antirequisites: VAS 252a/b, 254a/b, or the former Visual Arts 231. |
| Prerequisite: VAS 020, 250 or the former Visual Arts 020, or permission of Department. Priority will be given to students registered in a Visual Arts program. |
| 6 studio hours, half course. |
