Course Description

Biophysics 475a Medical Imaging

How medically useful signals are obtained and processed to form images, and how these are evaluated. The modalities covered are x-rays, nuclear medicine, ultra-sound, computed tomography, and nuclear magnetic resonance.

Prerequisite: Permission of the Department.
3 lecture hours, half course.
