Course Description

Biology 345a Community and Ecosystem Ecology

(Given by the Department of Zoology.) An integrative approach to ecology, stressing the structure and function of ecosystems, their diversity, stability and productivity. Major emphasis on aquatic ecosystems.

Prerequisite: Biology 283a.
2 lecture hours, 3 laboratory/field trip hours, half course.
