Nursing 361a Promoting the Health of Families

Building on existing knowledge of Registered Nurses, this course focuses on the critical examination of the four foundational concepts of the nursing curriculum: health promotion, primary prevention and primary healthcare with individuals and families. The course broadens the nurse's recognition of what constitutes knowledge in practice.

Prerequisites: Registration in Year 3 of the BScN program for Registered Nurses.
