This course examines the contexts and processes of the production, communication, and reception of information, with an emphasis on developing a critical understanding of scholarly and journalistic modes of production and communication. The course also looks at macro issues related to information circulation and control, such as bias and misinformation, intellectual freedom, and accessibility. |
