Course Description

Kinesiology 290F/G Critical Thinking in Sport Sciences

The two primary objectives of the course are: i) to equip the student with the ability to distinguish between judgement and opinion; and ii) to enable the student to develop reasoning skills to make and support sound judgement on contested issues in areas of sport and physical activity.

Antirequisite: Health Sciences 202F/G.
Prerequisite: At least 60% in Kinesiology 021 or Health Sciences 021
2 lecture hours, 2 tutorial hours, half course.
