The forces reshaping global economic geography; fundamentals of spatial economics; principles of locational decisions; spatial interaction; growth of spatial economic systems; examples are taken from a variety of countries.

Antirequisites: The former Geography 170a/b.
Prerequisite: Geography 020E.
