Award Description

The Dean Ivan C. Rand Award (up to 3)

Endowed by bequest of the late Ivan C. Rand. The annual income from the bequest shall be divided in such manner as the Selection Committee sees fit, amongst those students in the graduating year in the Faculty of Law who are honored by membership in the Honor Society.
The Society was formed by the undergraduate students in 1963-64 to commemorate the Honorable Ivan C. Rand, Dean of the Faculty of Law, from 1959 to 1964. The Selection committee is composed of representatives of the undergraduate student body and of the Faculty. The Committee may nominate not more than three students from the graduating year for membership in the Society, selection being based upon meritorious academic standing throughout the undergraduate years in law, and outstanding contributions in the service of the undergraduate students of the Faculty of Law.

$270 to be shared equally between at most three recipients
