Award Description

T.R. Meighen Foundation Entrance Scholarship for Students from Atlantic Canada

Awarded annually to an outstanding secondary school student from Atlantic Canada entering year one studies at The University of Western Ontario. Candidates must have a very strong academic record, minimum 90% or in the top 10% of their class, a demonstrated ability for creative and innovative thought, a passion for learning and exceptional achievement and leadership in extracurricular activities. Application deadline is February 14. This scholarship was established through Foundation Western by the Meighan Family and alumni from Atlantic Canada.

$9,500 ($3,500 for first year; $2,000 for second, third and fourth year)
